Best Public Garden is on Kauai

McBryde Garden on Kauai voted Best Public Garden by Sunset Magazine in its first Sunset Travel Award in this category.

Sunset Magazine just published its list of the best public gardens and the National Tropical Botanical Garden has been voted No. 1.  The NTBG has 2 beautiful gardens on island and both are an easy drive from Hula Now Kauai vacation rental units.

NTBG comprises approximately 2000 acres in 5 gardens and 5 preserves in different states and islands, but McBryde Garden is the flagship garden and is located on Kauai. The mission of NTBG is to protect plants from all parts of the world’s tropics and the garden contains the largest collection of any garden of native Hawaiian plants, including rare and endangered species.  Limahuli Garden is another garden in the NTBG and features ancient taro terraces and native species.

A day at the gardens is long remembered!  The flowers and their perfumes surround you and the photo opportunities are endless.

Hula Now has Kauai vacation rental units on the east side of Kauai — the Royal Coconut Coast — making trips north, south, and west on the island an easy drive. Our affordable luxury units feature full, queen, and king beds with oceanfront, ocean view, and garden view options.  Hula Now has wheelchair-accessible units with large tile showers; some of the units feature full kitchens while others have 24-hour room service.

Come, explore the beauty that is Kauai, including our award-winning tropical gardens!  You can view all our Kauai vacation rental units and book safely and securely on line at our website:

Wishing you warm Aloha!

  1. Went to see movie Jurassic Park, the first one, here the other night. It was great! Outdoors at the garden. Look for the dinosaur eggs in the roots of the fig tree. Hula Now folks recommended it to us.
