First-time Visitor or Repeat Guest: Planning Your Spring Getaway at Our Kauai Vacation Rentals

Get to a Hula Now Kauai Vacation Rental Anyway You Can This Spring. Adventure Awaits You!

It is not too early to plan your spring getaway!  If you are a first-time visitor or one of our many repeat guests, the spring months of March, April, and May offer a myriad of things to do and places to see.

In March, celebrate Prince Kuhio at a free admission event in Anahola: The Anahola Prince Kuhio Day Celebration, March 19, from 11 AM to 5 PM, with cultural displays and demonstrations, local foods, crafts, and artwork.  On March 26, enjoy Kilauea Art Night with local arts, great food trucks, and entertainment.

In April, visit Grove Farm for its annual Old Time Game Day.  Go back in time to a simpler era and enjoy family fun.

May brings the 38th Annual Visitors Industry Charity Walk, open to all.  The 2.9 mile walk starts at 7:30 AM at the historic County Building in Lihue and winds its way through Lihue, passing many scenic and historic spots.

If you are a first-time visitor to Kauai, you will delight discovering our 60 golden and white sand beaches.  Visit Wailua Falls, right off Kuhio Highway and close to all our Kauai vacation rental units.  You may remember this scenic spot from the opening credits of Fantasy Island on television!  Make sure you visit one of the National Botanic Gardens on Kauai, not only for the connection to Jurassic Park but also for the incredible display of native and rare tropical plants and flowers.  In March and early April, it may be possible to spot whales from your lanai or from the beach.  An excellent spot for whale watching is Kilauea Lighthouse; you can volunteer to be an official whale counter for the morning!

Repeat guests know the incredible range of activities from bicycling to hiking to zip lining to snorkeling to sunset catamaran trips to fabulous dining.  One fun event that should not be missed by first-time or repeat visitors is a trip on the Kauai Plantation Railway.  This adventure includes a leisurely ride on a 1930-era train, a hike in a rainforest, a picnic lunch under a spreading tree, and the opportunity to pick your own tropical fruit dessert right from the trees.

And then, there is always the opportunity to do nothing but soak up the sun, feel the gentle tropical trade winds, listen to the waves and calls of tropical birds, and smell the lush tropical flowers!  Add a dip in the pool and you have the vacation of a lifetime.

Come, stay with Hula Now at one of our affordable luxury Kauai vacation rental condos.  You can find the perfect spot for you — oceanfront, ocean view, garden or resort view — and book safely on line at any time at

Wishing you warm Aloha!
