Hula Now has 101 ideas for fun on Kauai: from quiet beaches, to shave ice, to cool concerts, to outdoor activities.  Come to Kauai this summer!

The July/August issue of Martha Stewart Living contains an article “101 Amazing Ways to Soak Up the Season: the best things to see, eat & experience from coast to coast”.  Hula Now can think of 101 reasons to come to Kauai this summer.

To start, what is summer without cool water and beaches?  Kauai has about 60 beaches, some that you can just about have to yourself for quiet reading or relaxing, shell and sea glass collecting, plein air painting, or napping.  Or if you wish to venture into the waters, Kauai has snorkeling, SCUBA, windsurfing, standup paddle boarding, surfing, body boarding, and kayaking.  Kauai also has the only river in the state — open for kayaking!

Fourth of July brings fireworks to the beach, including a spectacular show at the Pacific Missile Range Facility.

If it is cool treats you crave this summer, Kauai has fantastic ice cream, shave ice, and refreshing drinks.  Think mai tai at the end of a fun-filled day, either sitting on your private lanai or at one of many local spots, several within walking distance of your Kauai vacation rental with Hula Now.  Remember, when it comes to food, Kauai is known for its coffee, chocolate, rum, farmers’ markets, and fantastic eating opportunities, from casual to elegant.  Don’t forget luau!

Come, enjoy all that summer has to offer on Kauai.  Hula Now has oceanfront, ocean view, and garden view units that sleep 1 to 4 people in full, queen, or king beds.  Some of our units have full kitchens, too, and all units have access to free outdoor bbq grills.

We hope to see you on Kauai this summer!

Wishing you warm Aloha!
