Summer is in Full Glorious State at Our Kauai Vacation Rentals

summer

Miss Summer hopes that you will not miss summer on Kauai.

Uh oh….summer seems to be fast fading!  The stores are stocking up on Hallowe’en candy and costumes and Christmas catalogs have appeared in mailboxes.

And, despite your promise to yourself, you have not been on vacation.

Time to make things right — summer is in its full glorious state at our Kauai vacation rentals.  The hiking trails are still open.  The water is inviting for surfing, snorkeling, boogie boarding, sailing, or paddling.  The farmers’ markets are bursting with fresh foods.  The sun is still shining.  The waves still lull you into a peaceful zone.

What are you waiting for?  Hula Now makes it easy for you to book your Kauai vacation rental on line at any time.  Visit the website at http://www.hulanow.comwhere you can review all available units: Hula Now has rental units that sleep 1 to 4 guests in full, queen, or king beds.  Some units have full kitchens. Whether it is oceanfront, ocean view, or garden/resort view, the Hula Now attention to detail will make your Kauai vacation the vacation of a lifetime every time.

To get you into the mood for a vacation on the Coconut Coast of Kauai, why not make some easy coconut ice cream, no ice cream maker needed:

Ingredients

  • 1 c (8 oz) whipping cream or heavy cream
  • 3/4 c (6 oz) cream of coconut
  • 1/2 c sweetened flaked coconut

Directions

Chill a large mixing bowl and the beaters of an electric mixer (or whisk attachment of a stand mixer) in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator and pour the whipping cream into the chilled bowl. Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form. Gently stir in the cream of coconut and sweetened coconut. Spoon into a freezer safe container, cover, and freeze for about 4 hours or overnight

By time your ice cream is ready to enjoy, you can have booked a stay and packed your bags.  We hope to see you soon at our ohana!

Wishing you warm Aloha!
